An opportunity exists for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer in our Melbourne office who will provide technical leadership, mentoring and advice for the ground engineering team, whilst servicing numerous clients within the infrastructure, mining, gas, power and water utilities and building sectors.

Here’s What You’ll Need

The successful applicant should have significant consulting experience in the geotechnical space as well as a strong understanding of the Australian market place, in particular industry and major clients. In addition, they should possess the following skills and experience –
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and/or geology degree.
Professional membership.
Sound experience in various areas of geotechnical investigation, analysis and design in areas such as mining, tunnelling, slope risk assessment, ground improvement, foundations, dam engineering and associated infrastructure projects.
Sound understanding of relevant geotechnical standards and design software within areas of expertise.
