BreastScreen Tamworth

BreastScreen NSW is part of the National Program, BreastScreen Australia. BreastScreen aims to detect breast cancer early before it has a chance to spread. Early detection of breast cancer increases the treatment options available and improves the chance of survival from the disease. The BreastScreen NSW Coordination Unit is managed by the Cancer Institute NSW. The program is delivered by nine Screening and Assessment Services, which are located and managed within Local Health Districts.

BreastScreen Hunter New England (BSNSW HNE) line management within HNELHD is through Hunter New England Imaging. BSNSW HNE is a lead performer at both a State and National level, and as such we are seeking to engage a commitment and collaborative leader to join our successful team.

The Site Manager, BreastScreen NSW Hunter New England (Tamworth) will work under the leadership and direction of the Manager, BreastScreen NSW Hunter New England supporting the Service in providing a high quality, client focused service to reduce mortality from breast cancer through early detection of the disease. You will need to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet the strategies and operational requirements of the BreastScreen Service.

You will bring your:

· proven leadership experience in a complex client focused environment at a senior level

· previous experience or the capability to undertake the responsibilities of accreditation preparation, quality assurance and work health and safety aspects of a service

· positive disposition and strong collaboration skills across a multidisciplinary team

· outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, with ideally previous experience in writing work processes and business cases

· ability to successfully manage and implement organisational change

· principles which align the Service€™s CORE values
