JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of a busy Environmental Services group in Perth, this position offers excellent variety of work and will see you involved in

  • Supporting the winning of projects through the preparation of proposals and bids relating to environmental management of infrastructure/ development projects
  • Undertake the planning and execution of site investigation and assessments with a focus on providing construction support, particularly relating to acid sulfate soils and water management
  • A variety of small to medium sized projects that the team is delivering, as well as working within a highly respected, globally connected team on major projects
  • Supporting the delivery of quality field investigations, data management, risk assessments and reporting
  • Providing environmental advice and support to multidisciplinary design and construction teams and liaison with contractors on site
  • Leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Developing your skills working closely with experienced professionals on a variety of projects

What you will bring to the team

  • Technical skills and experience in acid sulfate soils, dewatering and groundwater management, contamination assessment and waste management, assist in environmental management of construction projects from feasibility studies to design and construction
  • Site based experience undertaking field investigations, managing third parties and sub-contractors, providing guidance and technical advice
  • Experience in supporting project management and administration
  • Demonstrated competency in contributing to proposals and report writing in a variety of formats for a range of clients/sectors
  • Written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science or engineering
  • Ideally 3-5 years consulting experience
