In this role you will be responsible for project delivery, design management & project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.
Based in our Melbourne office and reporting to the Civil & Aviation Leader for the Southern region, we have an opportunity for a Drainage Engineer to join our Transport Group and assist with technical input and advice with respect to drainage infrastructure in accordance with client requirements. You’ll support with drainage design and documentation, reports and specification of Engineering solutions in response to a client’s brief, whilst developing good relationships with colleagues and clients to ensure Jacobs delivers on agreed project oCompanyomes.

Here’s What You’ll Need

Good level of experience in preparing drainage designs and deliverables for road/rail/ transport & civil infrastructure projects
Proficient in 12d / OpenRoads Designer Drainage
Familiar with Microstation and CAD
Good understanding of civil and drainage design principles and methods
Good understanding of the multidisciplinary interfaces
Hands on skills in authority approval processes for infrastructure/developer works
Familiarity of technical standards
Working knowledge of the local environment and relevant industry is ideal
