Exciting Systems Engineer opportunity to work with one of Brisbane's leading consultancies to provide technical support alongside major businesses.

About Our Client

They work in conjunction with leading providers in different technology sectors to be able to deliver the best advice and solutions to customers. They take great care in their customer service and therefore can quickly respond to their customers’ needs.

The Role
This role will be partaking in building and maintaining client relationships through providing at least a level 2 standard of technical solutions to customers. The person in this role needs to be willing to work on rotation for on-call activities as well as take overflow calls for Service Desk teams. They must do this in meeting the professional developmental goals which are set by their team leader.

Essential Experience

  • Have 2-3 years’ experience in a Systems Engineer role
  • Hold a certificate in at least one of Citrix, Microsoft and/or VMware product stacks, and capability in deploying and configuring these product stacks
  • Have cloud knowledge of Azure and/ or AWS
  • Have Microsoft and/ or Windows server knowledge
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when working with customer requests and the documentation of such requests
  • Manage and provide level 2 support to multiple clients, with the ability to prioritise request and complete all processes in a timely manner
  • Have the ability to employ problem-solving techniques and assist in the remedy of client issues
  • Be able to investigate and implement tools and processes for managing configuration items and can ensure the completion and accuracy of related information
  • Have excellent communication skills over the phone, in-person and written in order to show customer service capability
  • Be, on occasion, working in a team environment and therefore needs team-work qualities
