Based at our Pilbara sites, these unique roles will provide you with the chance to really excel in your career and extend your technical expertise whilst working within a multitude of electrical and control systems assets across our fixed plant operations.

Reporting to the Superintendent Asset Management, you will

  • Implement improvements to control systems and electrical assets in region
  • Monitor and maintain advanced control system schemes, control systems asset registers and implement asset life cycle plans
  • Develop and update operational, maintenance procedures and recovery plans to minimise business interruption due to equipment failure

  • Ensure compliance to RTIO standards and industry best practice, and sustainability of changes through first party assurance and governance of site electrical and control systems engineering processes
What You’ll Bring

You are an enthusiastic practitioner in the control systems space who thrives on finding ways to improve control systems while ensuring standards are maintained and met. You enjoy collaborating with people from all ‘walks of life’ and love being part of a high performing team.

You will have tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering and be familiar with key electrical Australian standards. Additionally, you will have knowledge in the interpretation and development of technical documents (such as engineering drawings, scope of works, functional specifications, procedures and commissioning plans) and be able to perform equipment failure investigations and apply root cause analysis processes.

A ‘C’ class driver’s license will be required, and your team focus, and ‘can-do’ approach will also ensure your success in this role. Experience in electrical protection, variable speed drives, PLC and SCADA configuration, HV switchgear and functional safety, whilst not mandatory, will be well regarded.

So, if you are up for the challenge, a great location and the opportunity to work with an exceptional team of technical experts, apply now!
