Exciting opportunity for a Coordinating Project Engineer to join state government department for 2 years.


Your new company
We are currently partnered with a leading state department on their search to find a Coordinating Project Engineer to join their team on a 2 year contract.

Your new role
Being the coordinating project engineer you will be representing the department and providing technical advice on the engineering requirements of the team. You will be coordinating the Project Engineers and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Understanding the Engineering Management procedures of projects to assist the Project Manager through different stages of the project
  • Participating in both internal and external meetings giving technical advice to stakeholders on project deliverables
  • Supporting project managers with the management and planning of design deliverables
  • Provide technical guidance and advice to the project team
  • Collaborate with a number of engineering teams from a broad range of disciplines across the project

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role, you will need to have
  • Tertiary Engineering Degree
  • Chartered Engineer
  • Demonstrated experience in design and delivery of multi-disciplinary civil projects
  • Extensive knowledge working across multi discipline teams
  • Proven experience in leading teams
  • Well-developed communication and analytical skills

You will also need to complete a competency assessment, pre-medical assessment and be subject to a national police clearance.
