Any Industry
Source: uWorkin

The role:

This is a multi-tasking role overseeing the general maintenance and presentation of a high-end private residence. With previous experiences as a Handyman or Chippy, preferably working for a private employer, you will be ensuring the inside and outdoors of the property are maintained to an exceptionally high level. The duties will be broad and include a large variety of tasks from changing a light bulb, clearing the rubbish and tidying up the terrace to fixing electronics, trimming the garden beds and cleaning the garage.

This role follows a routine with key duties to be completed on a daily basis but there will also be a lot of variety so you will not get bored. This an autonomous role where you will be the expert in charge of your area.

Is this you?

You are experienced, preferably trade qualified, with exposure to carpentry, electronics, gardening or maintenance and no tasks are too big for you. You take pride in your work and do not cut corners. Once you have worked out the property, you know exactly what needs to be done, how to do it and will take initiatives within the scope of your responsibility.

You do not need to be told but will liaise with the team to complete your duties in accordance to the family’s schedules and needs. Talking about the team, you appreciate being part of a like-minded community and enjoy helping others in order to complete a common goal. You are social yet professional and have a sense of priority.

To apply for this role you will need:

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • A recent Police Check or be willing to obtain one
  • Excellent references from previous employers
