JOB DESCRIPTION

Act as an Escalation Engineer and resolve complex L2& 3 technical support issues in this leading MSP based in Melbourne's South East.

The company
My client is a very well established and well funded Melbourne based technology company offering a range of services including IT Support Services, Cloud Support, Security and other project work.

About the role
Reporting to Service Desk Manager, this role requires an experienced Escalation Engineer to hit the ground running in a busy but very well-structured and very well-supported team environment.

Day to day duties include;

  • Troubleshoot Level 3 user issues to determine a resolution plan
  • Ensure response timeframes of tickets are actioned within SLA
  • Support both on-prem and cloud infrastructure
  • Assist the L1&2 service desk with any complex issues
  • Identify and encourage more efficient ways of working

About you
The successful candidate for this role will need to be a confident communicator and someone who enjoys interacting with a wide variety of key stakeholders on a range of IT related queries.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience within a L3 Escalation Engineer position
  • Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, O365, Win10, VMware, Active Directory, Azure & SCCM.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Excellent user focused, customer service skills
  • Basic networking experience
  • Appetite to learn and continue to develop
