About the role

The Electrical Engineer role exists to achieve reliability, availability, and the ongoing viability of power station assets. Providing high level electrical engineering support and leadership, you will ensure the power station plant is operated within design rating and maintained in accordance with relevant standards/codes while continuously improving the technical, environmental, safety & commercial performance.

Reporting to the Engineering & Technical Services Manager, you will provide Electrical Engineering technical support and input into operations and maintenance of the Power Station and other operational sites and projects.

About you

You are a degree qualified Electrical Engineer with experience working in a similar heavy industry.

You offer skills in performance and condition monitoring, maintenance, design, instrumentation & control systems.
You are a critical thinker, with the ability to develop conceptual and detail design concepts and cost estimates including the development of options analysis.

You demonstrate a flexible work manner and an openness to adopt methods/practices that are multidisciplined.

You are a natural collaborator and remain curious when solving complex problems while also taking a continuous improvement focus, looking for better ways of work.
