We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Process Improvement and Project Planning Engineer to join our regional APAC Engineering Division, based either in Sydney, Melbourne, or Singapore. This is a multifaceted and influential position that works closely with our Engineering teams and management, with the following key responsibilities:

  • Leading and driving LEAN continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of our Engineering Division – including processes, governance and documentation
  • Certification in Six Sigma
  • Coordinating and project managing innovative R&D projects
  • Creating training and onboarding material
  • Proactively promoting new tools, processes, innovation and improvement
  • Tracking and reporting on impact of continuous improvement initiatives

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Passion for continuous improvement
  • Experience in Engineering process improvement, LEAN and track record of delivered improvements
  • Ability to coordinate and motivate Engineers to drive internal projects to completion
  • Experience working in a real time information environment
  • Strong understanding of financial outcomes and ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, including the ability to liaise with all levels of staff
  • Competent use of MS Office applications and finical control software packages
  • Ability to build trusting and credible relationships with internal customers
