We have a number of opportunities within Rail calling for specialist skills in Safety & Assurance. Your home base will be South Brisbane but you may be required to work from the Milton project office from time to time. Reporting to the ANZ Rail Systems Leader, youll support projects in the identification and management of safety assurance and RAMS activities, provide input to safety and design reviews, develop and implement RAM plan and undertake risk analysis in support of design decisions.

Youll play an integral part to the ongoing growth within our transport infrastructure sector and provide support across multidisciplinary rail projects and bids. You will be key to ensuring that projects are delivered to the Jacobs engineering framework, fully integrated and fully assured, to meet our obligations in support of engineering project delivery.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Tertiary qualifications (minimum Bachelor) in a Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering discipline
Ideally qualification as a functional safety engineer
This role is likely to be identified as a Rail Safety Worker position according to the Rail National Safety Law and will be reuired to confirm to the requirements of a Rail Safety Worker, including a strict drugs and alcohol policy
Experience on major and multidisciplinary rail projects, with a preference for those with experience working in a D&C/Alliance delivery environment.
Broad range of experience (preferred) in safety assurance within a rail environment or other safety critical industry.
