  • Annual Salary Range: VPS4 - $87,640 - $99,438 + super
  • Tenure: Ongoing
  • Employment Type: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual Work Location: Traralgon (flexibility may be available)

About the Team

To deliver transport operations across all modes that provides a single user interface to the transport network.

About the Opportunity

This role is required to exercise professional independent judgement to undertake project development activities for improvement to the arterial road network in accordance with Government legislation, policies and guidelines, and to effectively manage and administer specialist consultants, DoT internal providers and other contracts and review reports to ensure work is being carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations and to the required standard.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Ability to undertake project development including planning procedures, planning studies, risk management and prepare robust scope and estimates for arterial road projects in accordance with DoT programs, government priorities and relevant legislation and regulations under limited supervision.
  • Ability manage project contracts and specialist consultants.
  • Provide sound advice to stakeholders on project development and planning issues affecting transport and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Exercise professional independent judgement to undertake community and stakeholder consultation/engagement.
  • Exercise professional independent judgement to apply DoT policies and procedures to manage, engage and develop staff.
