Your new role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for the design, planning, management, maintenance, and support, and any other technological duties associated with their cloud computing environment.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure solutions in accordance with Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework
  • Working with the Digital Solution team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions
  • Managing cloud environments in accordance with security guidelines
  • Generating scripts and templates required for the automatic provisioning of resources
  • Migrating legacy solutions to Azure
  • Identifying, analysing, and resolving cloud and on-premises infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to the Service Delivery team to build cloud competencies
  • Assisting in the maintenance of on-premises IT infrastructure

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure and M365)
  • Strong understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected frameworks
  • Public and Private Cloud/Hosting experiences
  • Experience in managing Azure Platform, Windows Servers, M365, VMware, Windows Virtual Desktop Infrastructure technologies and environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Active Directory and core services knowledge (DNS/DHCP/Certificates/Group Policy/File & Print)
  • Ability to write scripts using technologies such PowerShell and JavaScript
  • Sound awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks
