JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a passionate individual to come join us in our Pathways and Vocational Education sector. As our new Manager, Building, you will be responsible for the leadership of a portfolio of programs within the department and is responsible for building the profile and reputation of Department Area, both internally and externally.

You will provide vision, leadership and operational management of the team to ensure the delivery of high quality programs and innovative learning and assessment practices to meet the needs of student cohorts while ensuring programs are developed and delivered in accordance with Swinburne’s quality standards.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
  • Relevant tertiary degree or management qualification or equivalent experience and currency
  • A sound knowledge, and demonstrated significant experience and understanding of the educational area and training sector disciplines and the requirements of relevant industries or partners.
  • A demonstrated track record in motivating, leading and managing high performing and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in high level planning, organisational and complex problem solving skills, which enable business units to achieve performance targets and budgets.
