SHAPE Australia brings all types of spaces to life by delivering high-end fitouts, complex refurbishments and specialist construction projects with our expertise spanning across Commercial, Hospitality, Healthcare, Education and Retail. The opportunity
A SHAPE Site Foreman assists with all on-site activities including our commitment to safety and ensuring our projects are perfectly delivered. As part of your responsibilities in conjunction with the Site Manager, you will;

Develop an understanding of the scope, contract and project time frames.
Establish the site in accordance with relevant Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
Induct the subcontractors and site employees.
Prepare the delivery of daily & fortnightly programmes.
Coordinate the trades and sequencing of work.
Manage the subcontractors and staff, ensuring quality and safety.
Record daily site activities in site diary.
Coordinate defect rectification.
About you
To become a SHAPIAN there are few skills you’ll need in your toolkit;

Demonstrated communication, leadership and team building skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships.
Trade and/or Safety Qualifications.
Experience as a Leading Hand or equivalent with-in the building industry.
Flexibility, adaptability and being able to problem solve.
Competent with Microsoft Suite Programs; Word, Excel, Outlook, Project.
Willingness to be part of a building resilient safety culture onsite.
