Our Property Development and Construction Company is one of Sydney's most progressive, fast paced and respected.

We require a skilled Project Engineer to join our highly productive team.

This is a unique opportunity to join our on-site construction teams take on a broad range of responsibilities.

The Role:

You will be responsible for preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned projects. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements
Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned projects
Monitoring compliance and applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications
Interacting daily with the Site Managers and Project Managers to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field
Perform overall quality control of the work and report regularly on project status
Communicate effectively with the Project Managers and Site Managers
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Enforcing and maintaining safe and clean working environment
Develop the specifications for all equipment that is required for each project
Minimum requirements:

The successful applicant will be:

Proven experience as a Project Engineer within Residential Apartments construction
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
Excellent project management skills
Organised, practical, proactive and can plan out and prioritise work
Solid communication skills both written and verbal
Strong work ethic and company attitude
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues before and when they arise
