McGregor Coxall is looking for a Graduate of Landscape Architecture with 2+ years of post-graduate experience to join our Sydney team. You will be an innovative thinker, a talented designer with creative design flair and construction documentation capabilities. You will be driven to make an impact and to work collaboratively with a team focused on delivering sustainable design solutions, demonstrating attention to detail and crafting projects that deliver design excellence.

This is an opportunity that will allow you to work with a talented team of designers and project leaders, to learn and develop as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Project Leader in the ideation and evolution of our projects;
  • Take direction from the Project Leader and collaborate with the wider team;
  • Assist with resolving design issues;
  • Ability to understand and communicate design sketches, 3D sketches and drawings;
  • Undertake project production in Rhino and Revit;
  • Capable of taking initiative where possible.


Successful candidates will have the following skills, experience and personal attributes:

  • A qualification in Landscape Architecture, Graduate Architects are welcome to apply, however should be able to demonstrate, through their portfolio, experience designing public open space;
  • 2+ years post-graduate experience;
  • Construction documentation and reporting capabilities;
  • Technical competence with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe programs [InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop] and Microsoft Office;
  • Strong Revit competence essential;
  • Strong Rhino competence essential;
  • Excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills;
  • Critical thinking skills in the pursuit of innovation to deliver new technologies;
  • Self-awareness and self-management with enthusiasm for and commitment to delivering;
  • Ability to articulate design process and thinking;
  • Solid understanding of architectural documentation process and technical capabilities.
