About the role

As PFX Sales Engineer, this role will see you pricing and solution development of new and existing projects for the supply of reinforcing steel, associated products and services. This role is pivotal in promoting and influencing key external stakeholders on the use of reinforcing products and accessories for Building and Construction solutions. You will assist the Sales Manager in training and mentoring trainee’s and less experienced Project Coordinators to assist Liberty Reinforcing in securing it’s internal capability.
The key responsibilities in this role will include;

Co-ordinate the programming, scheduling and supply of reinforcing steel and associate with prefab products
Provide accurate and manufacturable schedules for production within agreed lead times
Develop Customer Relationships/Contact
Identify opportunities to provide value add construction solutions for prefab.
Experience using excel to formulate calculations.
Building on new and existing customers by providing solutions.
Taking calls from customers to solve prefab solutions.
Quoting on new prefab jobs on piling and manual prefab.
Understanding and using of JDE

About your experience

To be successful in this position, you will need:

Experience in scheduling and applying reinforcing products, solutions and services to the building and construction industry
Experience in influencing the building and construction industry on the use of reinforcing products
Understanding and application of safety standards in the internal environment and on site
Customer focused, coupled with the ability to meet customer expectations
Ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships
Tafe civil engineering diploma (or equivalent, as a minimum)
Sound computer literacy/knowledge, using Microsoft word, excel.
Sound spatial awareness
Passion for outcomes
Good understanding and knowledge of using Arma +
AutoCad (Highly desirable)
Tertiary qualifications relating to civil engineering (Highly Desirable)
