We're a team of approximately 70 staff. A mixture of indoor professional engineers, technical officers, and outdoor construction workers. A close-knit team, the work we do not only benefits our internal customers, but more broadly, our community.

We don't want a caretaker. We want someone to come and put their stamp on our construction business. Your passion for construction, team development, stakeholder relationship management and creating a great team culture will be rewarded with leadership development opportunities, autonomy, and a great work-life balance.

Take a look at the position description at the top of the page HERE or if you'd like some more information about the role, forward our hiring manager, Stephen Bell (Road Construction & Maintenance Manager) an email on stephenbell@logan.qld.gov.au

About you

Sure, we're looking for an experienced and competent Leader, but you'll also have excellent interpersonal skills and be a confident communicator, be able to skilfully manage conflicting priorities, have heaps of enthusiasm and passion, and most importantly be the right fit for us.

We operate best as collaborative and service-oriented professionals who play a part in delivering infrastructure that meets the needs of our growing community.

However, more important than experience, we're looking for someone with the following characteristics:

  • You're known as an inspiring, inclusive leader who thinks 'we' before 'me'
  • You can quickly build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and your team. People come to you as they trust your advice, and value your expertise and knowledge
  • You care about your industry, you care about your people, and you especially care about their health safety and wellbeing
  • You put the community and our staff at the forefront of your decisions

To express your interest in this role, please forward your Resume and a Cover Letter outlining your relevant skills and experience in support of your application by the closing date of 11 June 2021.
