What will you be doing?

Due to an increase in demand for power utility design project work and a growing pipeline of bids across the major infrastructure project space, Arcadis is seeking either an Electrical Engineer or a Senior Design Technical Officer with experience gained across power utility and road lighting projects to work in our Melbourne office.

Your role will include-
  • Preparing road lighting design packages and utility relocation packages for major state transportation projects;
  • Conducting site inspections and collect relevant design data;
  • Preparing and reviewing complex reports, proposals and presentations for internal and external clients;
  • Assisting with project tendering, scoping and development of internal capability;
  • Ensuring that all related drawings and schedules align to Victorian power authority and utility standards; and
  • Engaging in weekly project update meetings and attend and participate in client meetings.


Who are we looking for?

You will come to us with-
  • Tertiary qualification in electrical/power engineering.
  • Accredited for Design Capability is essential.
  • Familiarity with Victoria’s power utility and road authority standards.
  • Road Lighting Design (Cat V) (Perfect lite, AGI32).
  • Demonstrated experience of managing inter-disciplinary design interfaces and/or projects.
  • Experience of delivering designs and reports at all stages from concept through to final project and construction delivery.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally.
