CyberCX is Australia’s leading independent cyber security consultancy organisation. To support our rapid growth, we are looking for AWS DevOps Engineers to work on one of our existing federal government customers. Due to the nature of our business, we are open to candidates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Canberra.

Reporting to the Manager – Cloudten Delivery Services, the Systems Engineer (DevOps) - Cloudten is responsible for building and managing cloud infrastructure and applications through a range of DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help build automated CI/CD pipelines using cloud native or commercial tooling such as: AWS Code Pipeline, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, GitLab, Jenkins etc.
  • Contribute to processes and review their application to ensure that the controls, policies, and procedures are operating effectively.
  • Follow and enforce ITIL aligned incident, request fulfilment, problem and change management process for any changes required on customer’s network.
About You
  • Excellent knowledge of public cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Strong AWS Infrastructure knowledge (certification highly regarded).
  • Strong DevOps with CI/CD experience (previous experience with Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy is a bonus).
  • Strong working knowledge of configuration management best practices and toolsets such as Ansible, Puppet etc.
  • A working knowledge of systems administration in either Linux, UNIX or Windows.
  • Strong scripting and or development skills, preferably with a good working knowledge of Python.
  • A good grasp of networking fundamentals.
  • Strong working knowledge of security best practices relating coding and cloud infrastructure management including IDAM and secrets management.
  • Build automation and configuration management experience.
  • Exposure to Big Data environments will be highly regarded.
  • Strong customer facing and communication skills.
  • Successful candidates must be required to pass a baseline security clearance with an existing security clearance as highly regarded - Australian citizens only.
