JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client provides a stunningly beautiful community space in which to enduringly
commemorate loved ones and to celebrate the wonder of life.

Maxima has been engaged to recruit a casual cleaner to maintain the Jubilee Complex and immediate surroundings.

The successful applicant is responsible for maintaining the Jubilee Complex to the highest standard reflecting the preeminent service the business provides and the cleaning duties are conducted within specific timelines and in accordance with priorities.

Duties

  • Assist in the set up and pack down of funeral and memorial services, ensuring
    the facilities are presented to the highest standard.
  • Equipment and machinery are maintained, charged and
    in working order.
  • Cleaning supplies / stock is maintained.
  • Responsibilities are conducted and/or completed with
    the Authority’s specified timelines and are accurate and
    compliant with legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance requests are completed promptly.
  • Events are well coordinated and delivered in accordance
    with the event plans.
  • Cleaning of public areas, including bathroom cleaning and maintenance
    throughout the day and deep cleaning at the end of each day.

The Applicant

  • Must have a valid Class C Drivers License
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of
    cleaning and sanitisation procedures
  • Organised, self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to
    manage competing priorities and achieve timeframes.
  • Cooperative and flexible attitude and willingness to
    undertake work in other workgroups to meet
    organisational objectives and projects.
