About Your Role

The purpose of the position is to take the lead in Manufacturing Engineering related issues associated with ongoing manufacture of Acoustic Sensor Assemblies including piezo-ceramics and transducers.

Specifically, this role is supporting Industrialisation topics associatedwith new product introduction and scaling for high volumeassembly.

The role is responsible for the specification, designfor manufacturing, development and implementation of Production processes, jigs, tools and machinery for new and existing Acoustic Products production lines within our Global Acoustics Centre of Excellence

How About You?

  • Minimum of 5yearsexperience in the design and implementation of semi-automated manufacturing environments, jigs, tools and machinery for high quality & complex electro-mechanical assemblies with a medium level production rate of up to 30,000 units per year.
  • Experience in Polyurethane or epoxy potting jig/tooling advantageous
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience Inventor2018, Solid works or 3D modelling advantageous
  • Experience in (3D printing) SLA,
  • Experience in FMEA (Process and Design)
  • University degree qualified in a relevant field e.g Manufacturing, Process, Mechanical(Mechatronics Engineering is preferable)
  • Sound skills, knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
  • Automation, robotics, process experience within a medium volume Manufacturing environment
