Full Job Description
A great opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Designer to join our Brisbane or Gold Coast based Urban Development team.

You will be predominantly be responsible for the preparation of civil designs for Public Utility & Plan projects. You will apply your skills to assist in the design and detailing of all aspects of civil works including PUP / services coordination, earthworks, roadworks, and stormwater design. You will have an aptitude for resolving complex site constraints within the operational parameters required of such facilities, as well as previous project experience within a multi-disciplinary team.

Working with our diverse team of engineering professionals, you will contribute towards carrying out professional service tasks using 12D, AutoCAD and other design/drafting software of appropriate scope and complexity to deliver projects from concept stage to construction. This position offers a good variety of work and will see you involved in civil design and documentation for:
Public Utility and Plant on roads and rail projects
Local roads and municipal projects
Subdivision works
Defence related works
Civil design for buildings projects
What you will bring to the team
Qualifications in civil design, with 4-5 years’ relevant experience
Direct knowledge and design experience of the components of DTMR and Rail civil infrastructure
Experience in managing the design and documentation of urban development, road and general civil infrastructure projects
Experience in 3d PUP design modelling (e.g., pressure and non-pressure pipeline) packages (e.g., 12D, Civil 3D)
Ability to coordinate and plan the work of design and documentation resources
AutoCAD capability in drafting and detailing civil projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a strong focus on the production of quality outputs.
