Founded in 2000, kwik-ZIP Spacers is a privately owned ISO 9001 Quality Assured Company that manufactures and supplies its patented centralisers and pipeline casing spacers to many industry sectors including drilling, waterworks, and civil construction.


kwik-ZIP has an established network of wholesalers and customers across the world including Australia / New Zealand, United States and Great Britain. With a Head Office in Bunbury, WA it maintains satellite offices and/or warehouses in Perth, Sydney, Dallas USA, Leicester UK.


Due to sustained business growth an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Engineer with a strong technical sales background in the waterworks/civil supplies sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide product technical support to kwik-ZIP customers and the internal sales team and actively participate in the sales and quoting processes for kwik-ZIP products.
  • Engage directly with new and existing customers for the purpose of identifying new products or product iteration requirements. 
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, Consulting Engineers and utility companies to facilitate specification of kwik-ZIP products in infrastructure projects.
  • Represent kwik-ZIP at relevant industry events including exhibitions and technical forums.
  • Assistance with development, maintenance and support of distribution channels.
  • Direct contact with re-sellers and assistance to re-sellers including on-site visits for training and feedback.

Experience / Qualifications Required:

  • A strong track record in technical sales and engineering or construction environments.
  • Sound engineering and commercial aptitude.
  • An understanding of the Australian Water Industry standards and products approval framework.
  • Ability to work across many different industry sectors in order to identify potential opportunities for business product offerings based on customer and industry requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skill. 
  • Able to travel intrastate, interstate and internationally as required.
