Reporting to the Building Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Training to manage the overall site performance of our home construction process
  • Training to maximise the site production by ensuring sub contract trade availability
  • Keeping up to date with building practices and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with and delivery of established cost management and project management practices
  • Partnering up with your assigned Site Manager buddy and learn about the role
  • Complete training assessments which will be undertaken during the relevant training with each department and
  • Fostering a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork is paramount.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Carpentry trade background essential
  • Completion of relevant education Cert IV Building & Construction or Building/Construction Diploma
  • Experience (Minimum 3+ years) in the building industry (preferable in the volume new home environment);
  • Customer Service experience;
  • An understanding of building regulations;
  • Knowledge of project management systems;
  • Previous experience working with and implementing quality assurance systems to Australian standards; and
  • Some experience in developing and managing organisational and external networks, particularly with trades, would be highly regarded.
This role requires a national police check and medical check to be undertaken.
