Junior To Mid Frontend Engineer

Grade - Australia,

Source: uWorkin

We're looking for a hungry frontend all-rounder, to join our growing team.

You might describe yourself as a 90s-style web designer, but one who works with modern tooling.

Someone comfortable jumping into Figma, rolling out some Nuxt.js, or writing the finest HTML/CSS.

You'll report in to our Interaction Lead, someone who's helped grow this business by delivering well crafted frontend experiences for our clients. Alongside our backend engineering team, you'll grow and develop into a strong senior member of Grade.

Each project we work on results in a unique approach based on the needs of the job.

We are lucky enough to have pragmatic clients who want good quality work instead of rushed deadlines.

Why we're different:

  1. We have a mix of medium and enterprise level clients who come to us with big challenges.
  2. We work with our clients for the long run - we get to know their needs and become true partners.
  3. The team is highly skilled but hugely pragmatic.
  4. We take our work seriously, but don't take our days too seriously.
  5. We encourage each other to have a voice. Be that to a client or to each other.
  6. We fully support flexible work - school run? Post office pick up? Never ask, just ping us on Slack so we know if you're afk.
  7. We've been fully remote for a looooong time. We know what works, we know what doesn't work.
  8. Timesheets? Pah!
  9. We're tinkering on some SaaS and B2C startup ideas too. We jump into these whenever we have time.
  10. We have an Employee Share Scheme for any perm staff. Share the upside if the business is ever bought out!
  11. Most staff work full-time but some do set days a week. Either is really fine for us.
