The Role

Our Network Planning Engineers assist and coordinate in the provision of strategic and operational commercially focused engineering expertise on network planning for the electricity network, including customer installations. They also assist in the development of geographically based regional development plans for the entire network to ensure adequate network capacity, quality and reliability of supply to meet customer and business needs.


What you will need:

To be successful in this role you will need electrical network planning, analysis, and operational knowledge as well as project management skills. You will have knowledge of the National Electricity Rules and Distribution Code and requirements and experience in root cause analysis.


Other criteria include:

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering qualification, that will allow admission as Corporate Member of Institute of Engineers, Australia
  • Current Australian Driver’s license
