SYNOPSIS:

Maintenance Tradesperson – Carpenter

  • Salary: $72,708 per annum ($1,398 per week)
  • Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • Commute use of vehicle

We are seeking a suitably experienced person to support the day-to-day operations of the City’s Building Maintenance Team in the delivery of quality carpentry and general maintenance services. The position will also require after-hours call outs on a three-weekly rotational basis.

The successful candidate should have demonstrated knowledge and competency in facility maintenance and material-cost and timeline estimation. Strong communication and customer service skills will also assist in the success of this role.

Applicants need to provide a covering letter addressing the following:

  • Demonstrated experience working with building maintenance and repair of building facilities and fixtures.
  • Considerable experience in carpentry and joinery or cabinet making.
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision and work cohesively as part of a team.
  • High level interpersonal skills, to effectively liaise with internal and external customers.
