LGIA 10 ($90,000 - $95,000 p/a) plus private use vehicle

The Town of Cottesloe is seeking a qualified and experienced Principal Building Surveyor to join our Development and Regulatory Services team.

As the successful candidate, you will play an integral role in developing a culture of quality, industry best practice and customer focus across the Development and Regulatory Services area. You will be equipped with the skills to develop, review and streamline systems and processes to ensure flexible and responsive service delivery.

The applicant must have demonstrated knowledge and the ability to interpret;

  • The National Construction Code
  • The Building Act 2011
  • The Building Regulations 2012
  • Local Government Act 1995

You will have a degree or Associate/Advanced Diploma in Applied Science (Building Surveying) or other recognized qualification to Building Surveying, along with several years of demonstrated and successful experience in a building surveying role. In addition, your qualifications and experience will ideally be supported by membership of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors.
