DevOps Engineer
Sydney

As a Sydney based DevOps Engineer you will take part in several ongoing initiatives within the Technology team to support the business as they go through a transformational change. This is a great opportunity to work in the private equity space for one of Macquarie’s most successful global divisions.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that leverage its core applications and data platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the private equity business and gain hands-on experience in one of the leading software solutions in the private equity industry.

This role involves working with large volumes of data to transform, deliver, and enable visualisation to allow for deeper business insights. As well as analysis and design of strategic solutions for our data reporting platform.

In addition to working with the immediate team, you will be liaising regularly with the broader group to maintain stability of our application stack and adapt the latest advancements in technology. You will be part of a global and dynamic team of engineers who build and support applications, whilst maturing our DevOps capability.

Ideally you will have:

  • Python or Java development experience
  • worked with data pipelines, ETL, modelling, and PowerBI
  • understanding of microservices architecture
  • familiarity with AWS cloud
  • understanding of CI/CD concepts
  • database experience using SQL and RDMS.
