Job Description

The Project

Point Wilson is an explosives storage facility at the western end of Port Philip Bay, Victoria. The property has a 2.4-kilometre jetty used for loading and unloading explosive ordnance. The scope of the project includes remediation of the jetty and reconstruction of the wharf.

Your opportunity

We are currently sourcing applications from motivated and passionate Project engineers, ideally with Marine/Wharf experience for an opportunity based on the Point Wilson Project

As Project Engineer, You Will Be Accountable For

  • Manage and plan construction engineering activities
  • Managing the planning and delivery of allocated work packages.
  • Driving work progress and completion under set project targets
  • Leading and mentoring Site Engineers and Graduates
  • Working closely with other functions (planning, procurement etc.)
  • Producing accurate and timely project reports
  • Driving a safety culture through effective supervision and implementation of standards, training and procedures


About You

To be successful you will ideally have the following experience and capabilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Several years experience as a Project Engineer in the civil and infrastructure space.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering large work packages
  • Proven experience in managing site engineers on large-scale civil construction projects
  • Experience in delivering Australian civil projects
  • Ability to effectively manage budgets, systems and stakeholders to achieve an exceptional outcome
  • Excellent attitude and awareness of safety
