About Our Client Our client is a well-established, family run company specialising in the design and construction of civil infrastructure and pipelines for water authorities (such as Unitywater, Urban Utilities, Seqwater) and various local authorities, utilities and commercial developers in South East Queensland. Who's services include the design, construction and rehabilitation of pipelines, pump stations and treatment plants. The Role We are looking for an Engineer with a civil or mechanical background to join the team and assist in delivering complex and exciting projects. Based out of the Sunshine Coast office and covering Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Noosa regions and surrounds, this role will see you working closely with our Project Managers, Site Supervisors and construction teams both in the office and on site, and provides a great opportunity to grow your skills and career with a well established and respected company. Skills and Experience This position would suit a motivated, driven individual with 2-3 years relevant industry experience in the delivery of water and wastewater projects, and someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with lots of opportunity to learn and grow within the role and company. Requirements The minimum requirements for the role are as follows: Civil or Mechanical Engineering Degree 2-3 years practical experience in the water & wastewater industry, with a proven track record and references for work in a similar role Experience delivering water, sewer and wastewater treatment plants projects Ability to interpret plans and drawings Must be able to manage to timeframes, be cost-conscious and achievement driven Problem solving mindset Excellent written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills, enabling you to effectively communicate, relate to and work with various teams Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Driven and self-motivated Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the use of scheduling software (e.g. MS Project) Skills in AutoCAD would be beneficial but are not essential Current Drivers License Job Reference No: BSINDJ2021109619 Apply Now Click on the Apply button or for more information please contact Aden Daud on aden.daud@workpac.com or (07) 3251 2261 quoting the above reference number.
