Englert is a manufacturer and distributor of metal roofing products and direct-to-consumer branded specialty metal gutters with a history of strong performance. Responsible for all aspects of Product, Process and Quality Specifications. Ensure process and quality procedures are fully developed and processes conform to design and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

Set detailed guidelines on quality standards and required inspections Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards Develop inspection methods to analyze product quality, perform and train others to perform them. Assist in determining quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible Identify the root of technical issues and recommend fixes Update our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes and improvements Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions (e.g. number of defective raw materials per order) Review blueprints and quality documentation Set and track quality assurance goals (e.g. reduce scrap rate and customer complaints by 20%) Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products Other duties as required by management

Requirements

3-5 years previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role Experience working in a manufacturing environment BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant field Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies and equipment. Ability to work with a skilled and experienced workforce to develop standard procedures Familiar with using various inspection techniques and equipment (e.g calipers, micrometers, etc,) Able to act as an auditor for internal systems, identify issues and recommend solutions. Ability to read and understand technical documentation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with statistical analysis Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work efficiently in a team environment Sense of urgency and desire to strongly improve all aspects of company Strong computer skills required (MS EXCEL, PowerPoint, Word and JMP) Basic mathematical arithmetic skills
