Project Engineer (Civil/Structural)

We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join the team based out of Berrybank Victoria. The Project Engineer is responsible for the delivery of assigned projects in a safe, timely, cost effective, high quality and innovative manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct effective and professional negotiation of work with subcontractors
  • Conduct ongoing risk management and hazard identification processes.
  • Ensuring work is being completed in accordance with the relevant drawings, designs. Standards, specifications and client requirements.
  • Work with operations to establish active, effective business improvement teams to eliminate waste and minimise the cost of our operations
  • Provide accurate monthly accounts and reports on the performance of the project
  • Review, monitor business performance/trends and provide recommendations for business improvement and growth.
About You
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering and relevant qualifications
  • Demonstrable and successful experience in a project engineering role
  • Demonstrated ability in proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and develop new business opportunities
  • Delivery experience with capability to develop business plans and delivery responsibility
  • Knowledge and understanding of OH&S and employee relations legislation
  • Ability to contribute to the preparation of financial budgets and business planning process
  • Experience in the substation environment is preferred.
