Technical Officer - Construction

Bring your skills and experience and join us in benefiting the community by providing technical support to crews, supervisors and the Construction Principal Engineer in the delivery of Civil Engineering projects. 

Join a group that exemplifies a strong teamwork ethic, together with the flexibility and positive "can do" attitude required in a role so variedOn any given day a Technical Officer could be estimating large complex projects, developing project delivery plans, drafting communication project plans or procuring materialsPut simply you will be integral in providing technical services to management in the planning and delivering of road and drainage construction and maintenance projects.

About you 

You will be able to demonstrate an ability to fulfill the tasks required for this role along with a relevant qualification such as Degree/Diploma or Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering but you must also hold a current 30215 General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) Ticket or if not, you must be willing to obtain one. 

Every bit as important as your knowledge and experience, we're looking for someone with the following characteristics. 

  • You are an effective and articulate communicator, both written and verbal. 
  • Can build and maintain important stakeholder relationships. 
  • You are open and willing to learn and develop. 
  • Possess the adaptability to successfully function in this particularly varied role.  
  • You have excellent time management skills and an eye for details.
