About the role

We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our exciting team of superstars. The successful applicant will work closely with the project team to run the design process here at Little Fish; we are essentially looking for someone to fill a Design Manager Role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply the finishes/fittings & fixtures schedules for projects
  • Meet with clients in order to understand their objectives and desires
  • Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs
  • Completing internal 2D and 3D elevations/details when necessary, for projects
  • Liaising with suppliers and building commercial relationships
  • Keeping up to date with new products (e.g., finishes, appliances, smartphone tech for houses)
  • Working closely with clients to incorporate their project-specific needs/wants (incl. managing design expectations with budgets)
  • Assisting the projects team (specifically through the design phase)
  • Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant and provide the best ideas and solutions

About you

The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and should be confident communicating regularly with clients in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Formal qualifications as an interior designer
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant post-graduate experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • InDesign & Photoshop experience
  • Revit experience
  • Technical knowledge
  • Strong creative skills
  • Be confident liaising with clients and consultants
  • Be motivated to succeed
