STO Group Australia provides tailored and comprehensive property maintenance solutions and services to our clients across Queensland and northern NSW. Backed by nearly 20 years of experience within the industry, our business is continuing to grow. Our head office and main depot is centrally located in Yatala QLD. STO Group Australia provides a range of services from plumbing, roofing, electrical, concreting, plastering, painting, landscaping, temporary fencing and more.

We are currently on the look out for a reliable, experienced, and motivated Builders / Carpenters for our Brisbane northside operations. The opportunities are permanent part-time and view of full-time for the right candidates. This is a great time to join us as we continue to expand and service a varied client base.

Our site-based trade team members are experts in their field and are highly valued within our business. We provide relevant training and inductions to ensure our new employees are prepared to harness our internal systems that provide a smooth, seamless, and efficient operations that benefit our valued clients and business alike.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Trade qualified, coupled with relevant industry experience
  • Licenced Builder
  • Experienced in domestic and commercial maintenance, repair and renovation jobs
  • High quality of work standards and work ethic – takes pride in their work
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Willingness to take on small and large jobs – no job too big or too small mentality
  • Superior communication skills, verbally, written and listening
  • Approachable, dependable and a positive attitude
  • Able to problem solve and think outside of the box
  • Excellent presentation standards
  • Superior time management skills
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety standards and requirements
  • Complies with relevant company policies and procedures
  • Able to learn new systems – experience with simPRO and Outlook is favourable

To be eligible for consideration, it is advantageous that candidates:

  • Hold a White Card (mandatory)
  • Hold a Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Have a National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • A clean driving record and unrestricted driving license
  • Full working rights in Australia [BDM|SG6]
