Our Urban Development project portfolio spans master planned communities, large-scale subdivisions, medium-density townhouses, retirement villages, industrial, commercial, civic and public infrastructure projects. Our clients are varied and diverse and include developers looking to maximise their land’s development, government agencies creating or improving public infrastructure and community spaces, and institutional and corporate owners expanding their portfolio or refurbishing existing assets.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Our team are involved in all aspects of the development process from land rezoning, conceptual design and feasibility studies to detailed design, contract documentation and contract administration. As our projects move into the design phase your role as the Senior Civil Designer will be to;

  • Work dynamically and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Produce engineering documentation related to road design, stormwater drainage, subdivision design and site regrading/earthworks for a variety of broadacre greenfield and brownfield developments.
  • Interpret project briefs
  • Interpret deliverable targets and work to an agreed delivery program
  • Prepare design reports/specifications and other QA documentation

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM

You will be a natural problem solver with a passion for solving complex design issues. You will enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders, imparting your technical knowledge and helping to mentor our less experienced Designers.

Our ideal candidate will have hands on design experience across a variety of Urban Development Projects as well as;

  • Demonstrated experience in Greenfield/Brownfields Subdivisions and related Infrastructure projects (ideally six (6) + years)
  • Experience in 12D and AutoCAD (MUSIC, Tuflow, HECRAS or Rorb would be advantageous)
  • Knowledge of relevant design standards, guidelines and regulations
  • Effective communication skills and ability to multi-task to meet project demands
