Job Description

This role is a technical lead role within Securities Services (post trade) technology group, responsible to build and support technology solutions for various products such as Fund Accounting, Middle Office (IMOS) and Tax S ervices.

As an Application Development Lead you will bring in experience as a technology leader, be involved in the development and support of the Securities Services Technology (application & infrastructure) for multiple initiatives within the group.

The key responsibility in the role is to lead and manage a group of cross-functional teams (developers, testers & BA's) to drive the delivery of critical technology initiatives across the region .

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Accountable for end-to-end program / project delivery schedules and stakeholder communications across multiple work-streams / delivery agendas
  • Working closely with software engineers, product managers and other engineering teams to drive delivery of high-quality products and features
  • Continual manage ment of technology change for the Securities Services businesses through to production , whilst maintaining production stability
  • Management of critical implementations thru close partnership with engineering teams (ownership / mitigation of key risks and issues etc.)
  • Close partnership with core stakeholders (product, client services and operations) to manage and drive the software delivery lifecycle
  • Seek opportunities and take ownership of initiatives to improve service levels and improved efficiency for J.P. Morgan and the Client
To Be Successful, You Will Need
  • Extensive experience in managing large scale technology initiatives (experience with large scale transformation programs in the Prime / Securities Services space highly beneficial)
  • Extensive leadership experience in managing local / regional teams - partnering closely with product / operations stakeholders to deliver on time, scope and budget
  • Solid understanding of core technology design principles and proven experience in designing functional technology solutions within a complex service oriented architecture
  • Experience with managing international stakeholders highly desirable
  • Experience with Agile & DevOps structures, ceremonies and processes
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end behavior of enterprise applications, from front end through to database, authentication and access control
  • Experienced with tools such as Git, Maven, JIRA, Confluence and test driven methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
