Back To Work Scheme
The Victorian Government has launched it's Back To Work Scheme.
The Back To Work Scheme is about creating jobs for Victorian's by encouraging employers to hire disadvantaged job seekers. If an employee is successfully hired the employer will receive both a financial incentive and training support for their employee.
If you are currently looking for staff, or if you are an unemployed job seeker this scheme could benefit you.
For employers the job must be:
- full-time or part-time (not casual)
- with wage or salary up to $120,000 (full-time) or from $68,600 (part-time) depending on the number of hours worked
For job seekers you must be unemployed and seeking work. In addition to getting a job you will have the opportunity to upskill yourself and undertake accredited training.
